Coffee is great, but not everyone likes it in it’s pure black form. So, what to do when you want your dreamy creamy coffee, but don’t want to derail your healthy lifestyle? Well you simply whip up one of WBN’s nutritious and delicious coffee creamers.
#1 is amazing because you get the protein and healthy fats of cashews along with the sweet antioxidants of dates!
Sweet Cashew Creamer
1/2 cup cashews
4 pitted dates
1 1/2 cup water
1/8 tsp salt
Soak cashews and dates in 1 cup water overnight
Pour out water, add soaked cashews and dates with salt and 1/2 cup fresh water to blender.
Blend until creamy. Store in fridge.
#2 gives you the anti inflammatory benefits of cinnamon
Cinnamon Vanilla Creamer
1 can full fat coconut milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp maple syrup
Toss everything into blender and blend until smooth.
#3 You can’t go wrong with dates, cocoa and almond flavours!
Snickers Creamer
1 can full fat coconut milk
5 pitted dates
3/4 cup water
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
1/8 tsp almond extract
In a small pot heat water, add dates and let them sit in water a couple minutes to soften.
Drain dates, then add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
